One more to ask about: professional liability
If you give advice or provide a professional service, ask about professional liability too. It is sometimes called errors and omissions. The Texas Department of Insurance says it covers claims from the professional services you provide, which general liability does not. Some licenses require it, including for HVAC installers, plumbers and home day care centers.
